Elder Wanted

The Luke 6 Project, a dispersed Christian community in formation, dedicated to the study and practice of nonviolence as a member of the Community of Living Traditions, seeks an Elder to give leadership to the work of the Luke 6 Project and coordinate its relationship to the Community of Living Traditions. The Elder will have a deep experiential and studied understanding of nonviolence as a way of living in the world and as a means of achieving God’s Kingdom on Earth.  Read More.

Stony Point Center's 2nd Annual Homecoming
October 16 and 17, 2010


Join old friends and discover new ones at Stony Point Center's 2nd Annual Homecoming!

We will be honoring immigrants and folks from other countries who have lived and worked at Stony Point Center over the years. The weekend will include time with Co-Directors Kitty and Rick Ufford-Chase, a show at the Penguin Theater, and worship for those who wish to attend at Stony Point Presbyterian Church. 

Our Keynote speaker will be Claudio Carvalhaes, Brazilian pastor, immigrant advocate, and Assistant Professor of Worship and Preaching at Louisville Theological Seminary.

All are welcome as we continue to build a homecoming tradition at Stony Point Center.

Cost: $145 (includes immigration seminar, three meals, and your ticket for Penguin Theater. Assumes a bed in a shared double room. Single rooms may be available at an additional cost.)
