Community Life

Part of Stony Point Center's mission is to nurture a small, faith-based intentional community that lives on our campus. Community members commit to share spiritual practices, examine the impact of our consumer choices, practice nonviolence, and work for justice in the world. Let us know if you or your group would like to join in community life during your stay.

Possibilities include:

  • Morning Prayer: (8:30 to 9:00 am in the Meditation Space)
  • Daily "Hour of Service": (community gardening, groundskeeping, help in the gift shop or kitchen, etc.)
  • Longer Service Projects: in return for discounted rates, can be arranged for youth or adult groups
  • Spiritual Practices: regular fasting, Sabbath keeping and spiritual study
