 Gary Pratt

Gary Pratt, along with his wife Joyce, has been a volunteer living on the Stony Point Center campus since November 2008. He can often be found working at the front desk, greeting guests as they arrive. As a member of the Hospitality Team, Gary serves as a host for groups staying at the center. Before retirement, Gary was a technical support manager at AT&T in New Jersey for 22 1/2 years.

 Joyce Cass Pratt

Joyce has been retired since 1996 from AT&T after a 17-1/2 year career as a technical support manager. Joyce moved to Stony Point Center in November of 2008 with her husband Gary as mission volunteers. They both enjoy providing hospitality at the front desk and around campus.

 Pam Lupfer

Pam is a part-time Designated Pastor at Central Presbyterian Church in Haverstraw, NY and has been a Mission Volunteer at Stony Point Center for three years as coordinator for guest transportation and desk-top publishing.  Originally from Philadelphia and New Jersey, Pam spent seventeen years in California and is a graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary.  Pam loves to sing and has worked as a soprano soloist/section leader in both California and Philadelphia and currently sings with Ciela, a women's vocal ensemble.  Prior to attending seminary, she worked for nearly 20 years in the business world in sales & marketing, non-profit management and desk-top publishing.

Kathryn Ward

Since her retirement in 2005, after 25 years of Labor and Employment law, Kathryn has been a Volunteer at Retreat and Conference Centers across the country. She cherishes, and can talk for hours, about her varied volunteer experiences at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, Meadowkirk in Virginia and now at Stony Point. During her free time, she can be found knitting, crocheting or reading.

 Carolyn Klaasen

Carolyn graduated from Davidson College in May 2009 and came to Stony Point Center in June. She works in the kitchen, where she likes to make pizza and bake desserts, and also contributes to the Community of Living Traditions program team. She currently takes classes at New York Theological Seminary.

 Joanna Meckley

Joanna Meckley, a retired school librarian from western Pennsylvania, came to Stony Point Center as a volunteer helper in Readers' Service on February 1, 2001. Since May of 2002, when the director's position was left vacant, she has continued to operate this Service with occasional help from other volunteers. Joanna and her husband, now deceased, also served at Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, Alaska.

 MaryAnn Harwell

MaryAnn Harwell moved to Stony Point Center November 2008.  At the SPC campus, she can usually be found volunteering at the front desk or hosting groups staying at the center.  MaryAnn is also the half-time Office Administrator for the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship whose offices are located at Stony Point Center.  Before moving to Stony Point, MaryAnn lived and worked as a Director of Christian Education for several Presbyterian churches in the Alexandria, VA area.  She is the proud parent of two children and grandparent of four.  When MaryAnn is not working or enjoying visits with family, she likes to read, make jewelry, and attend shows and concerts.

 Bonnie J Ruggiero

As a Governing Board volunteer, I prepare internal monthly financial reports, comparisons of revenue and expenses between current and previous year, and other reports as requested.  I am liaison for Allison House with the Presbyterian Foundation that holds the investments for the maintenance of the property and PC (USA) that leases the house for programs at SPC.  Currently, I serve my church session as Legal and Finance Elder, the Presbytery of Elizabeth as a member of both the Committee of Ministry and Global Mission/Peacemaking Committee, and GAC as a member of Jarvie Commonweal Committee in NYC.

Jane MacDonald

Jane MacDonald, a member of the Governing Board, has been volunteering at Stony Point since August 2007, working in many capacities - planning, finance, sewing, building and grounds work, etc.  Her love is for the outdoors - if you see a person weeding, pruning, or digging, either in the vegetable garden or around the buildings, that's her!
