Accessibility at Stony Point Center
We at SPC are dedicated to working to make our campus more disabled friendly. We have a team of staff and volunteers that meet regularly to discuss and prioritize issues that need to be addressed. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to leave a note with the Front Desk for the “Accessibility Team”. They will be sure that your suggestion gets the attention it deserves.
Accessible Lodging
The Gilmor Sloan House has TWO disabled friendly rooms.

Latin America Lodge

Getting Around Campus
We have wheel chairs and electric mobility scooters that can be used during your stay here on campus. We also provide transportation around the campus via a golf cart and driver. If you need any of these accommodations, please let the Front Desk know as soon as possible.
The main building is accessible from both the front and back entrances. We have disabled restrooms and ramps for your use. There are removable coat hangers available and they are marked “reserved” for the disabled.
Disabled parking spaces are available for your convenience near the main building.
Hearing Impaired Accommodations
We have a transmitter with four receivers that can be used in meetings you attend on campus. We will need to know ahead of time, so the transmitter can be set up in your meeting space.
SPC has a portable hearing impaired smoke alarm. This smoke alarm will be placed in your room before you arrive. Be sure to let us know your need at the time reservations are made.
Other Special Needs:
SPC offers allergy free pillow cases upon request, special food preparation for persons with allergies and a low vision PC with high contrast keyboard and screen. Our dining is buffet style, and staff and volunteers will be glad to assist if needed.
We are guide dog friendly. If you need assistance to find a space to “Park” your dog, please let us know.
