Accomodations

Stony Point Center is located about a mile from the Hudson River in a small community. It is not really a "camp in the woods." Instead, picture beautiful lawns, vegetable gardens and a tranquil setting that has both woods and other houses located immediately around us, and you'll have a good idea of what to expect.

Please contact Mary Romano, our Reservations Manager, if you have any questions about our accommodations. (845) 786-5674 x 101

The Lodges

The Lodges: Plan your next conference for up to 140 people in our lodges. Each spacious room offers two single beds (six rooms have double beds), two desks and a sink. Single-person bathrooms are located in the hallways, and are shared by other guests on the hall. Each lodge offers a shared lounge and kitchenette with a microwave, sink and small refrigerator, as well as hot water for coffee and tea. Wireless internet access is available in most of our lounges, and in Lakota, our main administrative building and dining hall.

Allison House:    Allison House This home, donated by Elinor Allison just a few years ago, is located two blocks off our main campus.  It offers small-group retreat space for 10-14 people (depending on the number of couples) in five bedrooms with two and a half baths, and a newly renovated kitchen. There is a large living room and separate dining room, as well as a large sunroom and a screened-in porch and large yard. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful ravine that drops through the woods to a creek below. This is an intimate, small-group space that affords the opportunity to prepare your own meals at a lower cost than our standard rates that include meals in the Lakota Dining Hall.

The Gilmor Sloane House:   Gilmor Sloane House This renovated 1856 Victorian mansion, a gift from the Gilmor sisters more than sixty years ago, offers to guests eleven accessible, beautifully decorated bedrooms with private baths, as well as two parlors and two dining rooms.  The house is ideal for personal sabbaticals, family gatherings, or small group meetings, and can be combined with the lodges to accommodate larger groups. The House has a professional kitchen and large, formal dining room where we can prepare special meals for your event at your request. There are two dining rooms and two living areas, plus a sunroom and wrap-around porches for small group conversations and meetings. There is a television in one of the living areas, and a computer in the house for guest use, as well as wireless internet. The house also has an elevator and two rooms that are fully accessible for persons with disabilities.
